Foreign Cinema is a popular restaurant located in San Francisco's Mission district. With its eclectic menu of globally inspired cuisine and a stunning outdoor courtyard where classic and foreign films are projected onto a large screen, it combines the joys of food and cinema in a truly enchanting setting. In honor of the 23rd anniversary, commemorative pins were conceptualized and designed to capture the essence and history of the establishment. These miniature works of art utilize vibrant colors, quality materials, and precise craftsmanship to evoke a sense of nostalgia and pride for both employees and patrons alike.

Production required a minimum stroke width of 2 points. Working within these constraints while capturing the likeness of the subject was quite challenging.
There was a noticeable price jump in production costs from 7 colors to 8 colors. Multiple options were presented to determine the best course of action. Colors were then spec'd from CMYK to Pantone.
